The Traxxas Summit 1/10 All-Terrain Monster Truck is just another example of the unique touch and technology that Traxxas adds to their products. Right from the transmitter, you can shift from low to high gear or lock differentials. You don’t have to stop the truck to change gearing, activate diff locks, or install some additional parts. Make the change when you need to without ever skipping a beat!

And check out the gear ratio versatility. You can race full speed down the trail in the 25:1 ratio “high-range” mode, or if your course just turned from flat to steep and rocky, drop down to the 70:1 ratio “low range” mode and see just how much climbing torque this transmission can kick out. For maximum climbing traction, you can activate the T-Lock switch to lock down the front differential. And if that’s not enough, activate the rear T-Lock for full 4WD power.

A great transmission needs great tires, and the Traxxas Summit includes the biggest off-road ones ever - the Canyon AT. This tire features a multi-terrain tread with bold angular lugs that dig into almost everything from grass and dirt to roots and rocks. With the Canyon AT tires, the Summit can get over just about anything. The softer foam inserts allow the rubber to conform well to surfaces for maximum traction and control. The new Geode rims keep the tires tight and look great with their beadlock style design.

With the 1/10 Summit, Traxxas uses some of the engineering excellence already incorporated into the E-Revo with its futuristic molded chassis design. It looks great, but the real test is in the performance. The result is a rigid, lightweight, and integrated chassis that gives the perfect high-strength/low-weight combination you’re looking for in a high-performance R/C truck.

The chassis’ scalable battery compartments can handle a number of different LiPo and NiMh configurations. The battery compartment design allows the packs to be positioned lower and more toward the center of the truck for a better overall center of gravity. This makes for a cleaner layout up top, giving ample room for the Summit’s electronics and allows for better performance at steep climb angles.
