The new Traxxas Skully 1/10 RTR Monster Truck is based on the classic 2WD Stampede platform, so you know it's a guaranteed winner before you ever open the box or punch the throttle. So there is no need to wait. Its time to create your own sky high jumps, ride wheelies, and stomp on rows of cars 1/10th scale size. But stunts are only part of it sometimes you just want fast all-out speed! For trail-blazing speed runs, Traxxas has included a giant 12-turn Titan 550 modified motor to shoot the Skully to speeds over 30mph. And whats power without a little Traxxas innovation built-in? The Titan 12T is designed to stay cool by routing airflow through cooling channels molded into the motor plate. When the motor runs cooler, you get a much faster motor that delivers longer run-times. With the newest Traxxas models, you also have the freedom move out of the racing arena into just about any wet condition imaginable. You no longer have to avoid water, snow and mud for fear of destroying your electronics. Traxxas has now sealed the XL-5 ESC and other electronics to protect them from the elements and give you the ability to drive where you want when you want. This changes the game and adds a whole new world of possibilities.
This list of fully-loaded Skully features is long. A few more special ones to note are its fiber-composite chassis, the easy set up of the XL-5 ESC, the available Training Mode for beginners, and the Traxxas High-Current Battery Connectors that make sure all of your batterys power is delivered to the motor not lost due to resistance seen with other low-current connectors. The Skully comes ready-to-run: All you have to do is charge the included 7-cell battery and start your own monster truck adventure!
