Just like the other Slash 2WD brushed models, the Raptor features waterproof electronics so rain, snow and mud dont keep you inside in fact, theyre just new opportunities for extreme fun. Also standard is the mighty Titan 12-turn 550 can modified motor that can get the Raptor to speeds over 30mph. To keep perfect control of the voltage supplied to the Titan is the newly upgraded Traxxas XL-5 electronic speed control with low-voltage detection so you can really fire up your truck with a 2-cell LiPo battery. The XL-5 ESC features one-button programming and can even be set up in a training mode for beginners. The training mode reduces power output to the motor by 50% so newbies and younger drivers can learn to handle their Raptor before unleashing the full power this machine has to offer. Once basic driving school has been completed, the XL-5 can be switched to either Race or Sport mode to see how fast the Raptor can really go!
