RC Hobby Explosion has been the official battery supplier of Nikko batteries since their American distribution center went out of business in 2008. Some of the original Nikko battery packs, such as the 7.2V NiCd plug-in version, have now sold out. Not to worry, though, as we have teamed with a top NiCd battery manufacturer to provide our Nikko battery customers an RC Hobby Explosion 7.2V battery that has comparable specs, size, voltage, run-time and shape as the original Nikko 7.2V plug-in battery (Nikko #1272). In fact, this battery has a nice advantage as it comes with slightly longer AWG wire leads. This replacement combo set includes the new 7.2V battery and a charger that charges the battery in about 4 hours.

    Thank you ! Quick delivery and easy to order . Our son has had his remote control truck for many years . Wasn t sure if we could ever get a battery for it . It been 30 yrs since he has used it . I want to say thanks, you gave us a surprise when you had it to order . The car is back on the ground and running . Working and running again.

    Seems to be a very suitable replacement for the original battery pack and charger. Have only charged the battery once and it worked as expected. Overall good purchase.
