We have teamed with a top NiCd battery manufacturer to provide our customers an RC Hobby Explosion 9.6V battery that has the same specs, size, voltage, run-time and shape as the original Tyco Plug-In (not slot-in or cassette) 9.6V battery. In fact, this battery has a couple of nice advantages as it comes with slightly longer 22AWG wire leads and should give slightly longer run-times. This replacement combo set includes the new RC Hobby Explosion 9.6V NiCd battery and a 2-Hour Quick Charger.
