This is the Robinson Racing 18T Extra Hard 5mm Bore (.8 module) Brushless Motor Pinion Gear.
Robinson Racing extra-hard high carbon brushless motor pinion gears are built to work with our high-performance GEN3 steel slipper units. All pinions are precision machined and stamped with the specific number of teeth on each. One 4mm set screw is included with each pinion gear. A 2mm allen wrench (not included) will fit the 4mm set screw. These pinion gears can be run on vehicles using a 5mm motor shaft including Traxxas, Associated, and HPI models.
Special Notes:
- The RRP#1200 5mm to 1/8 inch Reducer Sleeve is required for 1/8 inch shaft motors.
- Also, 32-pitch and .8 module gears can be used together without any adverse affects, such as increased wear or increased noise. The main difference is that .8 module gears have a slightly larger outside diameter per tooth, which is roughly .00027 of an inch.
