The New Fokker Dr.1 RTF R/C Airplane is a 100% scale replica of the WW1 classic fighter plane. It includes scale details such as a scale radial engine, scale landing gear, scale pilot with real markings with dozens of minor scale details.
The Fokker DR .1 is powered by a 400 class brushless motor and has interlocking parts that make for a quick and easy assembly. It comes pre-painted and decorated from factory and includes a long range 4-channel 2.4Ghz radio system for glitch-free flights. The Fokker DR .1 can fly at extremely low speeds due to its tri-wing design and is a real treat for people learning how to fly. It has one of the lowest wing-loading numbers of any plane we carry.

Fokker Dr. 1 History:
The Fokker Dr.1 was Germany's Sopwith Triplane in the WWI fighter aircraft. It was designed by Reinhold Platz and built by Fokker-Flugzeugwerke with total production of 320 planes. Many famous experienced pilots flew the fighter aircraft like Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen, who was commonly known as the 'Red Baron'. The Fokker Dr.1 was a highly maneuverable and very agile plane.
Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen (May 2nd, 1892 April 21st, 1918) - The most successful experienced pilot from Germany and known as the 'Red Baron'. He was also the leader of the Flying Circus or Jasta 11 (a squadron during WWI that shot down more than 300 allied planes). He had 80 confirmed victories.
