The New Parkflyers R/C F-18 V2 Jet is the ultimate electric 64mm ducted fan scale radio controlled jet airplane. This jet offers a tremendous range with top speeds of about 95mph while still possessing the ability to remain maneuverable at slower speeds as well. The F-18 is constructed with lightweight, stiff, and durable EPO foam. It comes pre-painted, ready-to-fly, and is 100% true to scale in its appearance and proportions. The Parkflyers F-18 Jet comes complete with everything needed to fly on one box.
Also included is a 4-channel 2.4Ghz DSM radio system that has a 4000 foot range and provides interference-free flying so you remain in control of your jet at all times. Flight characteristics of the F-18 are super smooth with the versatility to roll, loop, and fly inverted with very precision control. Many under-powered RC electric jets can't do that, but the F-18 is ready for it.
For those lightning fast speeds, the Parkflyers F-18 includes a powerful 64mm electric ducted fan unit that's turned by a very powerful brushless motor. This gives the F-18 vertical climbing abilities that far surpasses other jets on the market. For perfect and precise taxiing on the runway, the F-18 includes a servo controlled steerable nose gear. This also adds to the scale realism of this amazing jet. Perform a low fly-by and you will find that the F-18 creates an amazing sound as it whistles by at hypersonic speeds.
Please Note: Although the F-18 is a very easy to fly jet, it is only recommended for those with R/C flying experience. It is rated for intermediate level pilots.
