RC Hobby Explosion has been the official battery supplier of Nikko batteries since their American distribution center went out of business in 2008. Some of the original Nikko battery packs, such as the 7.2V NiCd plug-in version, have now sold out. Not to worry, though, as we have teamed with a top NiCd battery manufacturer to provide our Nikko battery customers an RC Hobby Explosion 7.2V battery that has comparable specs, size, voltage, run-time and shape as the original Nikko 7.2V plug-in battery (Nikko #1272). In fact, this battery has a nice advantage as it comes with slightly longer AWG wire leads and a higher mAh capacity for longer run-times.

    Received the new battery a few days after my order. Plugged it into my old charger and charged it for 4 hours and my old Dictator car is running as good as new. Thanks!!

    I was given a rc black hummer from my neighbor to give to my grandson. Unfortunately it did not have the battery pack. But thanks to your company you saved the day. My 2 year old grandson thanks you also. Having a great time thanks to rc hobby explosion. Cant thank you enough Sincerely Todd gehrke
