This is the Hot Racing Aluminum Differential Carrier Housing for the Traxxas Unlimited Desert Racer.
- CNC machined aluminum construction
- Anodized black with laser etched lettering
- Fits the front differential
- Replaces Traxxas plastic carrier housing from Traxxas 8581. The seals are reused.
- Spider gear shaft & spacers (TRA8584), spider gear (TRA8582), and stock gaskets from (TRA8581)
- Removable thread lock (blue threadlocking compound) on ring gear screws
- Silicone diff lube
- Tighten ring gear screws in a star pattern
- Light application of grease on ring and pinion gears per Traxxas recommendations
